Golden eyes flashed in the dark of an alley. Water drizzled from above from the slanted roofs that lay on each side of this particular alley. Rain. Rain was comforting this day. Calming. But the silence was just a front before the pandemonium broke loose. Like the dim light from a lantern at the head of the alley signified.
“He’s down here! The thief is down here!” A man draped in an orange kimono screamed, reaching for the sword at his side.
